Cliff Rotenberg

Cliff is the founder of Golden Dome Associates LLC and serves as the firm’s Managing Director. For over 20 years, Cliff has worked with and for companies in a variety of intensive commercial development environments to drive measurable value creation and accelerated growth. In his work as Managing Director, Cliff focuses on identifying, vetting, and successfully moving forward client's commercial development and business ventures. He has a keen ability and insight to identify and to take advantage of market opportunities and adapt to evolving market dynamics, customer demands, and public policy changes. Cliff also has global expertise addressing complex business and operational challenges with straightforward strategies and easily communicated solutions that can be quickly implemented.

Before establishing Golden Dome Associates LLC, Cliff was Senior Vice President, Content Development Group Operations and Strategy and Senior Vice President, HMH Studios at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a global leader in Pre K-12 educational content and services. There he led a global organization of over 450 employees including product development and content engineering teams, was accountable for the overall group operational strategy and execution, and ensured that the core $1.3B product portfolio exceeded the expectations of customers.

Cliff previously spent over ten years at Elsevier, the world's leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information, where he had several senior executive leadership positions. He was Vice President, Business Development and Strategy where he developed, articulated, and drove a global vision and strategy for the Nursing and Health Professions business unit to build and sustain growth in the rapidly transforming healthcare, media, and post secondary education markets. Cliff was also Vice President, Global Business Models and Pricing where he created, innovated, and optimized global business models and pricing strategies for the $1B Health Sciences Division that delivered new revenue and enhanced the longer-term competitive position worldwide. Cliff's other positions at Elsevier included Vice President, Database, e-Commerce, and Direct Marketing and Vice President Market Development and Strategic Information.

Earlier in his career, Cliff worked in management consulting both as Director of the Business Strategy Practice for Handshake Dynamics LLC and as a Corporate Strategy Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers Information, Communications, and Entertainment practice.

Prior to business school, Cliff was the Deputy Chief Policy Advisor to the Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Cliff received an MBA from the Harvard Business School and an SB from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives with his family in the Boston area.
